At Hurst Limontes, our mission has always been rooted in compassion. We believe every family deserves to feel supported—during difficult times, after an injury, and especially during the holidays. That is why, this Thanksgiving, our firm partnered with Sahm’s and the Shepherd Community Center to provide meals for Indiana families who need it most. Together, we donated 20 full Thanksgiving meals, feeding over 160 people across the Indianapolis community.

Helping Families in Our Community Through Collaboration and Care

Sahm’s coordinated the preparation of each Thanksgiving meal, while the Shepherd Community Center oversaw the distribution to families throughout Indianapolis. Their combined efforts ensure that local households facing hardship still experience the warmth, comfort, and connection that make Thanksgiving special.
Our involvement was simple but meaningful: contributing the resources necessary to serve dozens of Hoosier families and supporting two community organizations that work tirelessly year-round to lift people out of crisis.

Why Giving Back Matters to Us

As a personal injury law firm serving Indianapolis and the surrounding Indiana communities, Hurst Limontes sees firsthand how quickly life can change for families after a serious accident or unexpected hardship. When someone is recovering from an injury, struggling financially, or navigating an overwhelming situation, holidays can add an extra emotional burden.
Our core belief is simple:
Clients are people first — not case numbers.
And that belief extends to our community as a whole.
Providing Thanksgiving meals is one way we live out that commitment. For us, service is not limited to the courtroom. It’s about standing with families, helping them feel cared for, and giving back to the community that has placed its trust in us for decades.

Strengthening Indiana, One Meal at a Time

Thanks to this partnership with Sahm’s and the Shepherd Community Center, more than 160 individuals will sit down to a Thanksgiving dinner they may not have otherwise had. This effort reflects the heart of our firm:
  • supporting Indiana families,
  • addressing real needs,
  • and making our community stronger—one act of compassion at a time.
As we continue our mission to protect and advocate for injury victims across Indianapolis, we also remain committed to showing up for our community in meaningful, tangible ways. We are grateful to Sahm’s and the Shepherd Community Center for the vital work they do and for allowing us to play a role in serving local families this holiday season.
