At Hurst Limontes, community service is more than a tradition—it’s part of who we are as a personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting and empowering Hoosiers. On November 16, 2025, our attorneys Leyda and Konrad Schmid proudly participated in Holy Spirit’s Community Legal and Financial Fair, an event designed to give local families free access to reliable legal information and practical financial resources.

Supporting the Community With Accessible Legal Guidance

The Holy Spirit Church campus was filled with families and individuals seeking clarity on legal issues that impact their daily lives—many involving safety, injury, and financial stability. Throughout the day, Leyda and Konrad met one-on-one with attendees, answering questions and offering guidance on topics such as:
  • Personal injury and insurance questions
  • Workplace rights and safety concerns
  • Consumer protection issues
  • Navigating court processes and legal timelines
As personal injury attorneys, the Schmids are familiar with how overwhelming legal challenges can be—especially when someone is recovering from an injury, dealing with unsafe conditions, or trying to protect their rights. Their goal was simple: listen carefully, provide clarity, and offer practical next steps that families could rely on.

Empowering People Through Knowledge and Compassion

What set their involvement apart was the way they approached each conversation. Rather than offering quick, surface-level answers, Leyda and Konrad took the time to understand each person’s situation, explain the law in plain language, and help them make informed decisions. For many attendees, it was the first time they had ever spoken with an attorney who could
explain their rights without cost or judgment.
Events like this reinforce a core belief at Hurst Limontes: access to justice starts with access to information. When people understand their rights after an accident, workplace injury, or consumer dispute, they are better equipped to protect themselves and their families.

A Shared Commitment to Safety, Justice, and Community.

Our firm’s work extends beyond the courtroom. We believe in strengthening Indianapolis through education, service, and genuine connection. The Holy Spirit Community Legal & Financial Fair offered an opportunity to do exactly that—one conversation at a time.
Leyda and Konrad’s dedication reflects the mission we embrace as a firm: to stand with our community, support those who feel unheard, and ensure everyone has the information they need to stay safe and secure.

Looking Ahead

Hurst Limontes is proud of the meaningful impact our attorneys made on November 16. We remain committed to participating in events that uplift our community and empower families throughout Indianapolis. We look forward to continuing our service in the months and years ahead.
