Dawson Jones grew up in New Palestine, Indiana, after spending his early childhood in Franklin. A proud Hoosier through and through, Dawson now channels his lifelong curiosity and drive into representing individuals who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence. He focuses his practice on personal injury, advocating for clients with the same dedication and compassion he learned from his mentors at Hurst Limontes.
Dawson earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in Legal Studies from IUPUI, transferring there from Indiana University Bloomington after becoming a father. He was recognized on the Dean’s List every semester for his academic excellence. Dawson then attended the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he developed a strong passion for torts and constitutional law. His clerkship with Hurst Limontes confirmed his calling to personal injury law, where he enjoys using critical thinking and advocacy to make meaningful differences in people’s lives.
During law school, Dawson balanced his studies with raising three children, an accomplishment that strengthened his determination and work ethic. He credits much of his success to the support and mentorship of his colleagues at Hurst Limontes, who inspired his commitment to treating every client as a person first, not just a case number.
Dawson is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division, with plans to join the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Outside of work, he enjoys weight training, playing basketball and softball, and spending time with his children. A lifelong sports fan, Dawson proudly roots for the Indianapolis Colts, IU Hoosiers, and the Pacers, although he admits he’s been a devoted LeBron James fan since childhood. He also volunteers through his father’s church in McCordsville, participating in community events and youth outreach programs.
