William W. Hurst — Of Counsel
Firm founder William W. Hurst has spent a career of more than 40 years representing injured Hoosiers, and in that time has recovered millions of dollars for personal injury clients — including families dealing with catastrophic and fatal injuries. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for more than a decade, and his 2027 recognition in Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs continues a run of peer recognition that few attorneys in Indiana can match. The firm he founded in 1981 has never represented an insurance company or an employer against an injured worker.
Alexander J. Limontes — Managing Partner
Alexander J. Limontes has managed the practice now known as Hurst Limontes LLC since 2019, and focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiff’s personal injury work. A first-generation bilingual attorney originally from Florida, he came to Indiana in 1999 to play football at Hanover College, clerked at the firm’s predecessor through most of law school, and graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2007. He began his career as a trial attorney with the Marion County Public Defender Agency before returning to work alongside Bill Hurst in 2011. He is licensed in both Indiana and Florida and is a Certified Civil Mediator.
Limontes has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® every year since 2019. He holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell, received the American Board of Trial Advocates’ Excellence in Civility Award in 2023, and has been named among the Top 10 National Latino Trial Lawyers since 2018. Charles “Chip” Hubley
Charles Hubley was born and raised in Indianapolis and earned degrees in political science and history from Indiana University before heading to the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the school’s Litigation Skills Program and its Innocence Project clinic.
He began practicing in Miami at a trial firm representing injured individuals as well as medical providers — orthopedic surgeons, general practitioners, and chiropractors — pursuing medical benefits from insurance carriers. That work put him opposite essentially every major insurer in the country, and he secured favorable jury verdicts and judgments against companies including State Farm, GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, and United Automobile Insurance Company. Now admitted in Indiana, he brings that insurance-litigation background to claims on behalf of injured Hoosiers, and his 2027 recognition falls in Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants.
Katherine “Katie” G. Karres
Katherine G. Karres has been helping injured Hoosiers for more than a decade and has represented injured people exclusively since 2011, after beginning her career litigating medical negligence claims. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2004 and from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2007.
She has tried 30 injury cases over her career and helped thousands of clients resolve their claims, and she has handled appeals before both the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals — including an oral argument in Chicago in 2016 — as well as authoring amicus briefs. Karres serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, is an active member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and has presented widely on personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, and trial preparation. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2017–2022), a Super Lawyer (2023–present), and Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. Chase T. Wilson
Chase T. Wilson has spent his entire legal career with Hurst Limontes, starting as a certified legal intern with the firm’s predecessor while still in law school. He graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2016, where he competed in moot court and was named to the Order of the Barristers.
Wilson focuses his practice solely on representing accident victims, and has recovered millions of dollars for clients in cases involving car and truck collisions, slip-and-fall injuries, assaults, and negligent firearm discharge.
